Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: After eight days off for Thanksgiving, Lourdes returns to the hardwood to begin a four-game road trip this week. The Gray Wolves return to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night with a trip to Cornerstone before traveling to Northwestern Ohio for a Saturday matinee.
Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her third season on the Lourdes bench,
Tandy Bradford sports a 21-43 (.328) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. In her fifth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 42-102 (.292) career mark. She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Cornerstone holds an 18-5 all-time advantage against Lourdes in a series that began Dec. 10, 2011. The Golden Eagles have won five straight against the Gray Wolves after sweeping last year's meetings. Cornerstone was a 91-70 winner in Grand Rapids, Mich. and a 68-66 victor inside the Ebeid Rec Center. The Golden Eagles are 10-2 against Lourdes all-time in Grand Rapids. Northwestern Ohio is 15-9 against the Gray Wolves dating back to Jan. 18, 2012. The two sides split last year's meetings, each defending its home court. The Racers were 88-83 victors in Lima, Ohio while Lourdes posted an 83-78 win in the Ebeid Rec Center. Northwestern Ohio holds a 7-5 edge all-time in Lima.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes led Ohio Christian nearly the entire way until the closing seconds of regulation when the Trailblazers rallied for a 99-90 victory over the Gray Wolves in overtime inside the Ebeid Rec Center on Tuesday (Nov. 21).
Taylor Thomas led Lourdes with 16 points off the bench while
Emma Pedroza tallied a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Nakiya Sigman added 13 points while
Halle Barnett chipped in 12 more for the Gray Wolves.
Macie Stringfellow gave Lourdes five double figure scorers with 11 points.
Scouting Cornerstone: The Golden Eagles have won two consecutive games after defeating Madonna 80-65 on the road Tuesday evening (Nov. 21). Jaxi Long leads Cornerstone in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game this season. Stephanie Ainsworth adds 13.8 points and a team-leading 6.0 rebounds per contest. Maddison Fulks and Olivia Kubik are also scoring in double figures, tallying 12.6 and 12.0 points per night respectively.
Scouting Northwestern Ohio: The Racers enter the week having dropped two straight games following a 79-57 setback against Concordia (Mich.) on Tuesday (Nov. 21). Northwestern Ohio travels to Siena Heights on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes. Alysia Lawson leads the Racers averaging 19.6 points per game this season while Alycia Patterson adds 12.6 points per night. Danae Williams has chipped in 12.0 points per game and Ana Montero Sanz tallies 10.7 points per game. On the glass, Alayha Allen leads the team with 8.3 rebounds per night.
A Balanced Offensive Attack: Lourdes top three leading scorers have all tallied 53 points through five games this year.

Emma Pedroza each are tallying 10.6 points per contest this season.
Double Trouble: Emma Pedroza registered her first double-double of the season, and third of her career, on Tuesday against Ohio Christian. The sophomore tallied 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, six of which were on the offensive end of the floor, in just 23 minutes of action. Macie Stringfellow tallied 12 points and 12 boards against Mount Vernon Nazarene on Nov. 10.
Lighting Up the Scoreboard: Lourdes tallied 90 points against Ohio Christian last week, the team's highest scoring output of the season. The last time the Gray Wolves tallied 90 or more points was on Dec. 21, 2022, a 91-46 victory over Penn State-Shenango. The 90 points were also the most in a defeat since falling 101-93 at Madonna on Feb. 15, 2017.
Nearing 900: Shae Pedroza leads all Gray Wolf players with 843 points over the last four years in a Gray Wolf uniform. Pedroza has averaged 10.5 points per game for the Gray Wolves over the course of her career.
Reaching 100: The victory over Adrian on Nov. 4 was the Gray Wolves 100th in the women's basketball program's history. Lourdes began playing women's basketball in the 2011-2012 season and is now 100-246 all-time.
Lourdes Tabbed Sixth in WHAC Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in sixth place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches. Lourdes was picked just behind Rochester (Mich.) and just ahead of Lawrence Tech in the balloting. Indiana Tech was tabbed as the unanimous preseason favorite.
