Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: The final week of the regular season has arrived with Lourdes having won five consecutive games and 11 of its last 12 overall.  The Gray Wolves travel to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening before finishing the campaign on the road Saturday afternoon against sixth-ranked Indiana Tech.

Head Coach Dennis Hopson: In his fourth season on the Lourdes bench, Dennis Hopson is 73-31 (.702) with the Gray Wolves and as a men's collegiate head coach.  He is only the third head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Lawrence Tech 14-7 dating back to Nov. 3, 2012.  The Gray Wolves have won the last two meetings between the two schools after defeating the Blue Devils 77-76 on Dec. 3 inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  The series is tied 7-7 in games played in Southfield, Mich.  Indiana Tech holds a 15-12 advantage against the Gray Wolves in a series that began Oct. 30, 2010.  Lourdes has won two straight against the Warriors after defeating Indiana Tech 85-83 on Jan. 11 inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Indiana Tech holds an 8-6 all-time edge in games played in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes had four players finish in double figures on Wednesday as the Gray Wolves led wire-to-wire on the way to defeating Madonna 96-87 at home.  Little Anderson tallied a game-high 24 points while Jackie Harris registered a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds.  On Saturday, the Gray Wolves concluded the home portion of the regular season with a 78-68 triumph over Northwestern Ohio.  Clif Snow poured in 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Joey Holifield added 23 points as well.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils have lost three consecutive games after falling 78-68 at home on Saturday afternoon against Rochester (Mich.).  Andrew Rinn leads Lawrence Tech in scoring, averaging 18.6 points per game.  Gunnar Gustafson adds 12.1 points and a team-leading 8.0 rebounds per contest for the Blue Devils.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have won eight consecutive games entering the week after scoring an 80-74 road victory at Aquinas on Saturday.  Indiana Tech hosts Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday before closing the regular season with Lourdes.  Rog Stein leads four Warriors averaging in double figures by scoring 13.2 points per game while also pulling down a team-high 6.5 rebounds per night.  Josh Kline has added 12.8 points per night.  Grant Smith and Blake Davison each have contributed 10.5 points per game on the season.

Still in the Title Hunt: Lourdes enters the final week of the regular season with a chance to share the WHAC regular season title and earn the top seed in next week's WHAC tournament.  The Gray Wolves must win both games this week (Lawrence Tech and Indiana Tech) while also having Michigan-Dearborn defeat Indiana Tech on Wednesday to forge the tie.  Lourdes would then have the tie-breaker based upon a season sweep of Indiana Tech.  The Gray Wolves have already been assured hosting a game in the quarterfinal round and with one more victory will clinch no worse than second place in the final league standings.

Reaching 20 Wins Again: With the victory over Northwestern Ohio on Saturday, the Gray Wolves reached the 20-win plateau for the second consecutive season and third time in the last four years.  Lourdes has now recorded four 20-win seasons in program history.

Doubling Up the Fun: Jackie Harris and Clif Snow both recorded double-doubles for the Gray Wolves last week.  Harris had a 22-point, 11-rebound performance in the win over Madonna for his team-leading seventh double-double of the year.  Snow added his fourth double-double of the season on Saturday with a 23-point, 10-board effort against Northwestern Ohio.

Among the League Leaders: Jackie Harris and Joey Holifield have both ranked among the top-five in the WHAC in scoring for most of this season.  Harris is fourth in the league at 16.9 points per game while Holifield ranks fifth in the conference at 16.6 points per night.

From Downtown: Jackie Harris leads the WHAC with 82 three-point field goals this season, averaging 3.2 per game.  He has 124 total triples over his two years with the Gray Wolves, shooting at a 41.1% career clip from beyond the arc.

A Pair of 1,000-Point Scorers: Earlier this season, Little Anderson became just the third player in program history to reach 1,000 points for his career at Lourdes.  The senior enters play this week with 1,191 career points, third most in program history.  Clif Snow was the second Gray Wolf in program history to reach the milestone, doing so during the 2020-2021 campaign and enters this weekend with a school-record 1,754 career points.

Snow Sets Rebounding Record: Clif Snow became Lourdes University's all-time leading rebounder with five boards against Rochester (Mich.) on Jan. 7.  He just became the first Gray Wolf in program history to reach the 900-board plateau and broke the program record of 825 boards set by Zach Steinmetz (2013-2016).  Snow enters the week with 901 rebounds in his five seasons with the Gray Wolves.

This and That: Joey Holifield, Jackie Harris, and Little Anderson have started all 26 games this season ... Holifield leads Lourdes in assists (76) and steals (42) as well as minutes played (32.9) ... Lourdes is +3.5 in turnover margin this season, averaging just 11.5 miscues per game.
