Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes opens its home schedule on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves welcome Siena Heights to Wildcat Stadium in search of their first WHAC victory of the season. Lourdes returns to the road on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Aquinas.
Head Coach Sierra Wagoner: In her third season on the Lourdes sidelines,
Sierra Wagoner has a 4-16 (.200) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach. Wagoner is the fourth head coach in the program's history.
Series Notes: Siena Heights is 12-1 all-time against Lourdes in a series that began March 18, 2014. The Saints have won the last seven meetings between the two schools after defeating the Gray Wolves 20-5 last season in Adrian, Mich. Siena Heights has won all three previous games at Wildcat Stadium. Aquinas holds an 8-3 series advantage dating back to March 22, 2014. The Saints have won two straight in the series after a 20-7 win in Grand Rapids, Mich. last season. Aquinas holds a 4-1 all-time edge in Grand Rapids.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Third-ranked Lawrence Tech scored 11 times in the opening quarter and built a 17-0 lead by halftime on the way to a 17-3 win over Lourdes on Sunday morning.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have lost back-to-back games following a 14-5 setback at Keiser on March 10. Jenna Allie leads Siena Heights with 14 goals and 15 total points while Hannah Merrick has a team-high two assists. In goal, Lucy Stedam has played every minute, sporting a 14.20 goals against average and a .398 save percentage.
Scouting Aquinas: The Saints enter the week having won three straight contests after defeating ninth-ranked Indiana Tech 14-12 on Sunday afternoon. Aquinas hosts Madonna on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes. Kennadie Minerich leads Aquinas scoring 24 goals and handing out 16 assists for 40 total points this season. Cierra Davis has 17 points on 11 goals and six helpers. Azariah Wells has played a majority of the minutes in goal, sporting a 12.08 goals against average and a .535 save percentage.
Lourdes in Home Openers: Lourdes is 2-6 all-time in home openers dating back to the program's inaugural 2014 season. Last season the Gray Wolves opened the home campaign with a 16-4 win over Cleary, snapping a two-game season-opening losing streak. The Gray Wolves also defeated Bethel (Ind.) 23-3 to begin the 2018 home slate.
Scoring Machine: Amelia McCourt leads Lourdes with 18 goals this season, accounting for 40% for the team's goals. She has scored multiple goals in all three games thus far.
Picking Up Ground Balls: Jordin Rawski leads the Gray Wolves with 17 ground balls this season.

Sarah Przyojski have 14 ground balls each as the trio have accounted for 45 of the team's 74 ground balls on the year.
Solid in Goal: Danielle Jackson has registered a 9.67 goals against average in her first three collegiate games. The freshman has made 20 saves and posted a .408 save percentage. She had a season-high 11 stops at Brenau.
On the Career Charts: Amelia McCourt has moved into the top-five on the career scoring charts at Lourdes. The sophomore now has 48 goals in just over a season, passing Jessie Frost (2014-2016) for fifth all-time. She is 14 goals behind Faith Fisher (2014-2015) for fourth on the all-time list. Her 56 career points rank sixth on the school's all-time list, two behind Frost for a spot in the top-five.
Matching the School Record: Lourdes tied the school record for goals in a game, scoring 23 times in the win at Truett McConnell, on March 8, matching the mark originally set on March 15, 2018 in a 23-3 victory at home against Bethel (Ind.).
Lourdes Tabbed Ninth in the WHAC: Lourdes was predicted to finish in ninth place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference this season in the preseason balloting of the league's head coaches. The Gray Wolves were picked just behind Marian and ahead of Rochester (Mich.) in the voting. Lawrence Tech was the unanimous pick to win the league title.
