Day 1 Results
Lourdes posted rounds of 304 and 302 for a 36-hole total of 606 on Friday as the Gray Wolves concluded day one of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships in sixth place at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.

The Gray Wolves are one stroke behind fifth place Indiana Tech and seven shots in back of Madonna for fourth place while leading seventh place Siena Heights by one shot in the field of 12 schools. Northwestern Ohio holds the 36-hole lead by 10 strokes over second place Lawrence Tech after posting a 575 (288-287) day one total.

Jack Murphy (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) led the way for Lourdes on day one with a two-round total of 146. After posting a 76 in round one, he came back with a one-under par 70 in the afternoon after carding three second round birdies. Murphy is in 11
th place on the individual leaderboard after two rounds.

Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne) led the Gray Wolves in round one with a score of 73 after carding four birdies. He shot 77 in round two to finish the day at 150.

Isaac Simmons (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa H.S.) posted rounds of 74 and 79 to finish at 153 while
Ryan Klausing (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida H.S.) fired rounds of 81 and 76 to post 156 on the 6,742-yard, par-71 layout.

Hunter DeWeese (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) shot 81 in round one for the Gray Wolves before
Justin Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) came on to play round to and posted an 80.

Noah Honiger of Northwestern Ohio is the individual leader at three-under par 139 (71-68), holding a three-stroke advantage over teammate Michael Robson heading into the final round.

The third and final round of the WHAC Championships will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning at Stoatin Brae Golf Club.
