Final Results
Lourdes shot its best round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday as the Gray Wolves finished play tied for sixth place at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.
The Gray Wolves carded a final round 301 to finish in a tie with Indiana Tech with a 54-hole total of 907. They were two shots behind fifth place Aquinas and two strokes ahead of eighth place Cornerstone. Northwestern Ohio was crowned the league champion firing a three-round total of 869, one shot ahead of runner-up Lawrence Tech.
Jack Murphy (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves, posting a tie for 11
th place with a total of 219 after a two-over par round of 73 to conclude the tournament.
Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne) added a final round 75 to finish at 225.
Ryan Klausing (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida H.S.) added a 76 on Saturday while
Isaac Simmons (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa H.S.) and
Justin Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) each fired final round 77s.
Madonna's Brandon Petzak was the individual champion at two-under par 211 after a final round 68, finishing one shot ahead of Northwestern Ohio's Noah Honinger on the 6,742-yard, par-71 layout.
