Lourdes shot 297 on Wednesday to close out the 2022-2023 season with a runner-up finish at the Yellow Jacket Invitational held at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance, Ohio.
 
The Gray Wolves finished five shots behind Northwestern Ohio, as the Racers claimed the team title.
 
Jack Murphy (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) led the way for Lourdes, finishing third individually, with a round of two-over par 72.  He was two strokes behind Northwestern Ohio's Guillermo Garron and Luke Turner, with Turner capturing the title on the first playoff hole.
 
The trio of Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne), Justin Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.), and Ryan Klausing (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida H.S.) all shot 75 to round out the scoring for the Gray Wolves.  Hunter DeWeese (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) carded a round of 80 to close out the Lourdes lineup.
