Lourdes began its 2024 dance season on Friday evening with a pair of third place finishes at home in a tri-meet with Point Park and Siena Heights inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
"I'm happy with our first performance," head coach
Lauren Wilson said afterwards. "I'm very proud of the girls and how they quickly adjusted to last minute changes. We improved our performance the second round and we are looking to improve even more on Sunday. We need to keep working on our technical skills, but I am very confident we will hit them in the next competitions."
In the opening competition, the Gray Wolves finished with a score of 53.05, including 0.50 points worth of deductions. Siena Heights won the meet with a total of 60.80 while Point Park finished with a mark of 60.30.

Lourdes will return to the floor on Sunday morning as the Gray Wolves take part in the Halo Classic. Action begins at 11 a.m. inside the SHU Fieldhouse on the campus of Siena Heights in Adrian, Mich.
