Lourdes improved upon its best score of the season by more than eight points on Sunday morning as the Gray Wolves' dance team finished fourth at the Halo Classic inside the SHU Fieldhouse in Adrian, Mich.

"I'm really proud with how much we elevated from our Friday competition," head coach
Lauren Wilson said afterwards. "They came with way more energy and performance, which is what we needed. We will continue to work on our cleans and technique to get better for next week. This definitely lit a fire underneath us and we're excited to keep improving."

The Gray Wolves posted a total of 63.20, including 1.0 points worth of deductions, and finished just 0.07 points in back of third place Point Park. Madonna won the competition with a total of 79.23 while Siena Heights finished runner-up with a 71.47 total.

Lourdes will return to competition next Saturday morning as the Gray Wolves take part in the Crusader Classic hosted by Madonna. Action begins at 10 a.m. in Livonia, Mich.
