LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University men's and women's cross country teams raced at the Louisville Classic, a two-day event hosted by the University of Lousiville in Kentucky, Oct. 4-5.
Competing in the men's silver 8k, the Gray Wolves finished 12th of 21 competing members, with the women placing 14th of 24 in the women's silver 5k.Â
The event was hosted at the EP Tom Sawyer State Park where the course record for the men's 8k is set at 22:58, while the women's 5k best time stands at 16:43.
On the men's side, juniorÂ
Liam LeBlanc led the team with a top-ten finish, coming in at a 26:30.8 course time, good for ninth out of 196 competing athletes within the silver race.Â
On the women's side, sophomoreÂ
Jenna Ramsey led the pack in the 5k, placing 13th among 208 runners, with a time of 19:49.9.Â
