Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball:  The penultimate week of the regular season has arrived for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves wrap up a three-game road trip looking to stay in the hunt for a WHAC tournament berth.  Lourdes heads to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening before traveling to nationally-ranked Indiana Tech for a Saturday afternoon contest.

Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her third season on the Lourdes bench, Tandy Bradford sports a 28-54 (.341) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In her fifth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 49-113 (.302) career mark.  She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lawrence Tech leads the all-time series against Lourdes 17-5 dating back to Nov. 17, 2012.  The Gray Wolves snapped a four-game winning streak in the series by the Blue Devils earlier this season with a 65-62 victory inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Lawrence Tech holds a 9-1 series edge all-time in games played in Southfield, Mich.  Indiana Tech is 26-1 all-time against the Gray Wolves in a series that dates back to Jan. 7, 2012.  The Warriors have won 23 straight games against Lourdes after a 72-60 victory over the Gray Wolves earlier this season inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Indiana Tech is 13-1 against Lourdes in games played in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Four Gray Wolves scored in double figures last Wednesday (Feb. 7) as Lourdes defeated Cornerstone 73-55.  Shae Pedroza led the Gray Wolves with 13 points while Macie Stringfellow added 12 more.  Emma Pedroza had 11 points while Tamyah Worthy tallied 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.  On Saturday, Lourdes led wire-to-wire in a 67-59 win at Madonna.  Emma Pedroza tallied 21 points while Stringfellow added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils are coming off a 72-66 win at Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.  Jade Faris is the lone Lawrence Tech player scoring in double figures this season, averaging 11.1 points per night.  Faris is also grabbing a team-leading 7.9 rebounds per game.  Dede Smith adds 9.9 points per night while Kate Jacobs is scoring 9.3 points per outing.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter the week having won 12 straight games following an 83-43 triumph at Rochester (Mich.) last Saturday.  Indiana Tech hosts Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday before entertaining the Gray Wolves.  Erika Foy leads Indiana Tech averaging 18.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season.  Taylor Covington and Genevieve Decker each have added 10.8 points per night for the Warriors.

In the Tournament Hunt: With just four games remaining in the regular season, Lourdes is tied with Aquinas for seventh place in the WHAC standings with the top eight teams earning a berth in the postseason event.  The Gray Wolves are two games behind Wednesday's opponent, Lawrence Tech, for sixth place, and one game ahead of Northwestern Ohio for ninth.

History Within Reach: Lourdes needs just two more victories to match the program record for wins in a season with 11.  The Gray Wolves won 11 games overall in both the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.  In addition, Lourdes has the opportunity to post its best WHAC finish in school history.  The Gray Wolves finished in a tie for seventh place in that 2018-2019 campaign.

Surpassing 1,000: Shae Pedroza became just the third Gray Wolf in program history to reach 1,000 points wearing the terra cotta and black when she surpassed the century mark on Jan. 31 at Concordia (Mich.).  Pedroza enters the week with 1,032 career points, second most in program history.  Lauren Tilden (2011-2015) is the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,302 career points while Jesse Fidler (2014-2017) tallied 1,001 points.

Double Trouble: Tamyah Worthy and Macie Stringfellow both registered double-doubles last week for the Gray Wolves.  Worthy's was the first of her career as she matched her career high with 10 points against Cornerstone while pulling down a career-best 12 rebounds.  Stringfellow tallied her fourth double-double of the year at Madonna, pouring in 12 points while grabbing 11 boards.

Dishing the Rock: Nakiya Sigman handed out a season-high eight assists on Saturday at Madonna without committing a turnover.  Sigman leads the Gray Wolves this season with 53 helpers.

Even on the Glass: Lourdes and its opponents have both grabbed exactly the same number of rebounds, 934, through the first 23 games of the season, an average of 40.6 per game.  The Gray Wolves have 34 more offensive boards than their opponents though, averaging just over 13 offensive caroms per contest.

Mixing Up the Lineup: Lourdes has had 12 different players draw a starting assignment this season.  Not one Gray Wolf has started all 23 games and only Shae Pedroza, who has started in all 22 games in which she has appeared, has more than 19 starts on the season.

Sisters Pacing the Offense: Emma Pedroza and Shae Pedroza have paced the Gray Wolf offense this season.  Emma leads the way at 12.3 points per game and has scored in double figures in 15 of the 23 games this year.  Shae has scored in double figures 12 times this year, including a pair of 20-point performances, and is second on the team tallying 11.1 points per night.

This and That: Lourdes is outscoring opponents by 53 points in the first half this season but have been outscored by 45 points in the second half and overtime ... Shae Pedroza is shooting 90.2% from the free throw line ... Macie Stringfellow has a team-leading 38 steals and 21 blocked shots.
