Final Results
Lourdes took to the oval for the first time in 2024 on Saturday, taking part in the unscored IWU Polar Bear Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind.
The Gray Wolves began the day as
TJ Destatte (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.),
Caleb Eischen (Maumee, Ohio/Waite H.S.),
Tyler Rose (Cardington, Ohio/Cardington Lincoln H.S.), and
Gavin Hamilton (Grand Blanc, Mich./Powers Catholic H.S.) turned in a time of 47.84 seconds in the 4x100m relay to finish fourth.
Elliott Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) turned in his collegiate best 1500m time to pace Lourdes in the event, crossing the finish line in 4:20.57, third best in program history.
Rose led the Gray Wolves in both the 100m and 200m dashes, posting marks of 11.83 seconds and 24.09 seconds respectively.
Layton Willson (Wauseon, Ohio/Wauseon H.S.) posted the fastest 800m time of the day for the team, finishing in 2:07.00. Lourdes closed the meet with a time of 3:33.19 in the 4x400m relay.
The Gray Wolves will head to the Tiffin Track Carnival on April 12-13 with day one events beginning at 11 a.m. in Tiffin, Ohio.
