Final Results

Lourdes headed to Siena Heights on Saturday and came away with a sixth place finish at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships held inside the SHU Fieldhouse in Adrian, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves turned in a combined score of 59.66, finishing 6.39 points behind fifth place Marian.  Aquinas was crowned the league champion with a mark of 90.10 while Siena Heights finished runner-up at 82.83.
 
"I'm proud of how hard the team fought for each round despite all of our injuries," head coach Lauren Wilson said afterwards.  "This season has been a very special one and I'm looking forward to finishing stronger next weekend."
 
Lourdes posted a mark of 56.33 in the preliminary round, including 2.5 points worth of deductions.  The prelims account for 25% of the final score.  The Gray Wolves then recorded a 60.77 score in the finals, including 2.0 points of deductions.
 
Lourdes will head to the NAIA Northeast Regional Qualifier next Friday in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Aquinas will host the event which begins at 11 a.m. inside the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center.
