Final Results
Lourdes captured the first two places in the 5,000m run on Friday at the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational on the way to placing fifth as a team at O'Laughlin Stadium in Adrian, Mich.
Elliott Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves in the 5,000m, winning the event in 15:51.17. He was just under two seconds ahead of teammate
Liam LeBlanc (Macomb, Mich./Henry Ford H.S.) who finished runner-up in 15:53.16.
Levi Trout (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) turned in a runner-up finish in the 3,000m steeplechase, crossing the finish line in 11:24.73.
Layton Willson (Wauseon, Ohio/Wauseon H.S.) had a sixth place mark in the 1,500m with a time of 4:15.42 while also leading the team in the 800m crossing the finish line in 2:08.85.
Caleb Eischen (Maumee, Ohio/Waite H.S.) ran 54.31 seconds in the 400m to finish in ninth place while
Tyler Rose (Cardington, Ohio/Cardington Lincoln H.S.) had the team's top 100m time finishing in 11.93 seconds.
Eischen and Rose teamed with
TJ Destatte (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.), and
Gavin Hamilton (Grand Blanc, Mich./Powers Catholic H.S.) to finish fourth in the 4x100m relay with their time of 47.76 seconds.
As a team, Lourdes finished with 42 points to place fifth in the field of eight schools.
Lourdes will head to Ann Arbor, Mich. next Saturday for the Concordia Legacy Meet which begins at 11 a.m.
