BRADENTON, Fla. (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University men's golf team tied for sixth place at the Shenandoah Spring Fling, posting a two-round total of 665 over Monday and Tuesday at Heritage Harbour Golf Course.
Concordia (Texas) claimed the tournament title with a team score of 612, finishing 10 strokes ahead of runner-up Shenandoah (622). Shenandoah's "B" squad (641), Ferrum (645), and SUNY Delhi (659) rounded out the top five, with Lourdes sharing sixth place with Shenandoah's "C" team.
Charlie Robertson led the Gray Wolves individually, tying for 11th place with rounds of 79 and 80 to finish at 159. Jonathan Huston followed closely, tying for 21st with a two-day total of 164 (82-82).
Grant Leis finished tied for 27th after rounds of 83 and 84 (167), while Justin Altenbach posted Lourdes' best second-round improvement, shaving eight strokes off his opening round to finish at 170 (89-81), tying for 32nd. Alban Bruyas (88-84) finished at 172 in a tie for 36th, and Clayton Stull rounded out the lineup in 45th place with a total of 181 (93-88).

The men will return to action April 4-5 at the Defiance Invite, hosted at Moose Landing Golf Course in Ottawa, Ohio. The event will feature a shotgun start, with play beginning at 12 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
