Men's Wrestling Places Three on NWCA Scholar All-American List

Speight, Coleman and Kroll Honored for Academic and Athletic Excellence

MANHEIM, PA. (LourdesAthletics.com) – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced its 2025 NAIA Men's Scholar All-Americans, with Will Speight, Derick Coleman, and Carter Kroll representing Lourdes University on this year's prestigious list.

To earn NWCA Scholar All-American honors, student-athletes must meet one of the following academic and competitive criteria: placing in the top eight at the NAIA National Championship with at least a 3.0 GPA, qualifying for the national tournament with a 3.25 GPA, competing at the conference tournament with a 3.5 GPA, or wrestling in at least five competitions as listed in TrackWrestling.

Speight, a two-time NAIA All-American and four-time national qualifier, adds this academic distinction to his already decorated career, which includes a fifth-place finish at the 2025 NAIA National Championships. Coleman, and Kroll who was also a national qualifier this season, each earned Scholar All-American recognition, as well.
