KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Lourdes golf programs competed in the Steven Tyler Memorial Invite in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Monday afternoon.
The men's team finished in fifth place in the event with a score of 322 (+34). The men were just one stroke behind D-3 school, Kalamazoo College, for fourth place in the event. The Gray Wolves finished ahead of WHAC-foe Michigan-Dearborn as well as D-2 school, Greenville. The final team results of the men's event are posted below.

The Lourdes women's team finished slightly better than the men, coming in fourth place in the event with a score of 351 (+63). The women finished above Michigan-Dearborn and Cornerstone, making them the best WHAC school in the tournament and second-best NAIA school. Leading the way for the Lourdes men's team was
Charlie Robertson. Charlie finished tied for fifth in the event with a season-best 73; shooting just one stroke above par. Just behind Charlie was
Edward Robertson, who finished tied for 22
nd with a +9 final score.
Cole Reese and
Brock Fussell each shot 12 over par and finished tied for 31
st in the tournament.
Leading the way for the Gray Wolves' women's team was
Claire Recker. Claire finished in fifth place individually in the event with a +8 score of 80.
Shauna White was second-best for Lourdes, finishing with an 89 and placing in 14
th. Rounding out the Lourdes top-three was
Allison Knicely, who finished with a 90 and ended up in 18
th place.
Next Up
The regular seasons for Lourdes' golf programs are over and the squads are heading to the WHAC Championships. The men's team plays their postseason first from April 18 – 20. The women play a week later, from April 26 – April 28.
