YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Lourdes men's golf team finished in 5
th out of 12 teams in the WHAC Championships on Tuesday afternoon in Yorktown, Indiana.
The conference postseason event took place an hour northeast of Indianapolis, but was hosted by Lawrence Tech. The top-five placement concludes a very solid season for the Gray Wolves men's golfers.
Charlie and
Edward Robertson each received second-team all-WHAC honors after the event concluded. Charlie Roberton also received the Champions of Character award for the team.
Four Lourdes golfers made the All-WHAC Academic team, including
Charlie Robertson,
Clay Stull,
Grant Leis, and
Joseph Nowak.
Lourdes head coach
Gil Guerrero also went home with hardware, winning the Men's Golf Champions of Character Coach Award. Guerrero joins Jake DuPree and Dock Kelly as the Lourdes coaches to receive the honor this season.
The WHAC Golfers of the Year went to Cleary's Axel Houdaille and UNOH duo Oliver Rogers and Guillermo Garron. The WHAC Newcomer of the Year award went to UNOH's Kyle Sutton. UNOH's Kyle West won WHAC Coach of the Year. With all of their postseason accolades, it's no surprise that UNOH won the WHAC Championships. The full team results are posted below.

Individually winning the WHAC Championships was Defiance's Jordan Walford. The Yellow Jackets' star shot an even par across all three rounds.
Charlie Robertson finished his Lourdes career leading the Gray Wolves at the WHAC Championships with an 8
th place finish and shooting eight strokes over par.
Joseph Nowak finished second-best for Lourdes, placing 10
th with one of his best performances of the year.
Grant Leis wrapped up the Lourdes top-three with a 15
th-place finish and shooting 11 over par.
