Biography

Montanize (Monty) Woods is a 2010 graduate of Akron East High School in Akron, Ohio. The 6'3" forward was a three-year starter and captain for two years for his high school team. As a senior, Monty averaged 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block per game. Monty helped lead the team to a 17-7 record and two district titles. He was named second team All-City and All-District honorable mention. Monty played in the Stark vs. Summit All-Star Game, GABCA All-Star Game and was the slam dunk competition champion.
