Men’s Lacrosse Continues to Roll, Downs Charlotte 20-6

Lourdes University's men's lacrosse team improved to 3-0 in its inaugural season with a convincing 20-6 victory over the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in a neutral site game played in Conway, S.C.
 
The Gray Wolves led 6-3 after the opening quarter and 10-3 at halftime and never looked back.
 
Danny Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.) scored six times for Lourdes while adding an assist and Jared Yoshino (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) tallied an eight-point day with five goals and three assists.  Andrew DiMartini (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) and Dylan Gill (Holland, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) each found the back of the net three times.
 
Josh Hollinger (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) and James Sandels (Copley, Ohio/Revere H.S.) both tallied their first collegiate goals in the victory for the Gray Wolves.
 
Connor Mishler (Lambertville, Mich./Saint John's H.S.) made four saves for Lourdes in goal while Joe Hollinger (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) made two stops in the final quarter.
 
Lourdes will return to action on Sunday evening, hosting Michigan-Dearborn.  Due to field conditions, the game will be played in Beverly Hills, Mich. indoors at Detroit Country Day School.  Opening faceoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
