Lourdes University's
Collin Brutlag (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.),
Jack Durham (Zeeland, Mich./East H.S.), and
Xander Slate (Stockton, Calif./Saint Mary's H.S.) have been named NAIA Scholar-Athletes in men's lacrosse the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced.
Brutlag is a two-time honoree while Durham and Slate both earned the accolade for the first time in their careers.
A total of 107 student-athletes throughout the NAIA were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes this season in men's lacrosse.
In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, be a sophomore or above, and have attended one full year at the institution.
