Zach Ruff (Valencia, Calif./West Ranch H.S.) was named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team and joined
Collin Brutlag (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.),
Jack Durham (Zeeland, Mich./East H.S.),
Lucas Semler (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon H.S.), and
Xander Slate (Stockton, Calif./Saint Mary's H.S.) on the WHAC All-Academic Team as the league announced the men's lacrosse postseason awards.
Ruff was chosen to represent Lourdes on the Champions of Character Team for displaying the five core values of NAIA: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
All-Academic Team accolades are awarded to sophomores and above in academic standing who have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or higher and have been at their institutions for at least one full year. Ruff and Semler are now two-time recipients of the honor while Brutlag, Durham, and Slate earn the accolade for the first time.
