O'Laughlin Stadium - Adrian, Mich.

Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: A pair of NAIA top-10 programs meet in Adrian, Mich. on Friday evening as second-ranked Lourdes travels to 10th-ranked Siena Heights.  Both teams are undefeated in WHAC play heading into the contest.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 24-11 (.686) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Siena Heights holds a 2-1 series advantage over Lourdes dating back to March 26, 2014.  Last year the Saints won a pair of contests, downing Lourdes 16-9 during the regular season before posting a 12-10 win in the CCLA playoffs.  The series is tied 1-1 all-time in Adrian, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Jared Yoshino scored four times and Conner Mishler made 13 saves as Lourdes downed third-ranked Indiana Tech 14-13 on Wednesday.  Yoshino and Dalton Vowles each tallied six goals on Friday and Mishler made 16 stops in a 21-9 victory over Saint Ambrose.  Lourdes concluded the week on Saturday with a 20-7 win over Clarke as Danny Bichsel scored five goals for the Gray Wolves.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have won four straight games after scoring an 8-5 victory over Aquinas at home on Tuesday night.  Danny Orr leads Siena Heights with 17 goals and 13 assists for 30 total points while Spencer Macek has added 15 goals and eight assists for 23 points. Tyler Hooper has played every minute in goal, sporting a 7.22 goals against average and a .572 save percentage for the Saints.

Fisher Earns WHAC Honor: Jay Fisher earned his first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor after helping the Gray Wolves win three games last week.  The redshirt-junior collected 26 ground balls and caused six turnovers in contests against Indiana Tech, Saint Ambrose, and Clarke.  He led a defense that allowed an average of just 9.67 goals per game last week.

Yoshino Surpasses 100 Career Assists, Nearing 200 Points: With seven assists last Saturday against Clarke, Jared Yoshino surpassed the 100 assist mark for his career.  The junior enters the weekend with 103 total assists and 194 career points.

Tight Scoring Race: Danny Bichsel holds the team's goal scoring lead with 40, and has 60 total points this season.  Dalton Vowles has taken the team's points lead with 63 after tallying 37 goals and 26 assists thus far this year.  Jared Yoshino holds the team's assist lead, handing out 27 helpers.

Winning Faceoffs: Nic Mueller and Marty Gospodarski are both on pace to better the school's single season faceoff win percentage record.  Mueller has won 101-of-160 faceoffs for 63.1% while Gospodarski has won 52-of-84 (61.9%).  The current record is 54.3% set by Dylan Gill in 2014.

Mishler on Pace for Goalkeeping Records: Conner Mishler has saved 59.1% of shots he has faced this season, and looks to break his own school mark of 54.6% set in 2014.  In addition, his current 8.50 goals against average is ahead of his 2014 pace of 8.71.

Moving Up the Rankings: Lourdes is a member of both the NAIA and MCLA in men's lacrosse.  The Gray Wolves are ranked second nationally in NAIA, where they are members of the WHAC.  In addition, they rank 10th in MCLA Division II as members of the CCLA.

This and That: Danny Bichsel's next goal will be the 125th of his career ... Reuben Lopez and Quinton Duran both scored their first collegiate goals last weekend ... Jaafar Ismail and Matt Ofner registered their first collegiate assists in Iowa as well ... the Gray Wolves' six-game winning streak is the second longest in program history (10, March 7-April 6, 2014).
