Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes returns to the road this week for a pair of games against teams that are undefeated in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.  Wednesday the Gray Wolves travel to Indiana Tech to battle the Warriors before heading north to face Lawrence Tech for a Saturday afternoon contest.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 37-15 (.712) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 2-0 all-time against Indiana Tech, with both meetings coming during the 2016 season.  The Gray Wolves notched a 14-13 victory at Wildcat Stadium on March 23, 2016 before downing the Warriors again on April 22, 2016 in the quarterfinals of the CCLA tournament 18-16.  Lourdes is 4-0 all-time against Lawrence Tech dating back to April 2, 2014.  Last season the Gray Wolves defeated the Blue Devils 21-14 at Wildcat Stadium.  Lourdes will be making their first visit to the LTU Athletic Field.

Wrapping Up Last Week: The Gray Wolves scored nine first half goals on the way to a 13-0 lead on Wednesday evening, and defeated Concordia (Mich.) 19-4 in the home opener at Wildcat Stadium.  Tanner Jaramillo scored seven times in the victory while Jared Yoshino added four goals.  On Saturday, Lourdes' exhibition game against Grand Valley State was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts by the Lakers.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have won back-to-back games after defeating Michigan-Dearborn 18-12 on Saturday afternoon.  Jace Childs has scored a team-high 35 goals for Indiana Tech while Will McKinney has added a team-high 52 points with 33 goals.  Noah Puckett is the team's assist leader with 20.  In goal, Joe Dosen has played all but 45 minutes this season, and sports a 12.73 goals against average and a .467 save percentage.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils had their eight-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, suffering a 22-8 setback to top-ranked Missouri Valley.  Lawrence Tech hosts Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes.  Tristan Burkhard leads the Blue Devils offensively, having scored a team-high 24 points.  Burkhard's 13 assists and 37 points are also team highs.  In goal, Jacob Sacdalan has played every minute this season, carrying a 9.94 goals against average and a .429 save percentage.

Quite a Game: Tanner Jaramillo entered the game with Concordia (Mich.) having scored just six goals this season and 30 for his career.  The sophomore found the back of the cage seven times against the Cardinals to lead the Gray Wolves to victory.

Clean First Half: Lourdes held the Cardinals scoreless for the entire first half, and for nearly seven minutes of the third quarter before allowing their first goal on Wednesday.

This and That: Lourdes' number two national ranking is its highest in program history ... 17 different players have at least one point on the season ... Lourdes has allowed just 20 goals over the first three quarters this season.
