Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes closes out the 2017 regular season this week.  The Gray Wolves travel to Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday and host SUNY-Delhi on Friday before entertaining Siena Heights in the resumption of a suspended game on Senior Night Saturday.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 38-17 (.691) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 3-0 all-time against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to March 16, 2014.  Las year the Gray Wolves posted a 20-8 victory at Wildcat Stadium.  Lourdes has won both previous meetings at Detroit Country Day School.  Lourdes and SUNY-Delhi have never met on the lacrosse field.  Siena Heights holds a 3-2 series edge over Lourdes dating back to March 26, 2014.  Last year the two teams split a pair of meetings, with the Saints winning in Adrian, Mich. 9-8 in overtime before Lourdes notched a 19-8 victory in Pittsburgh, Pa. in the semifinals of the CCLA tournament.  This is the Saints first visit to Wildcat Stadium.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes and Siena Heights began on Wednesday before lightning suspended the contest with the Gray Wolves leading 2-1 in the first quarter.  On Saturday the Gray Wolves defeated Aquinas 10-7.  Jared Yoshino and D.J. Harris both scored twice while Conner Mishler made 13 saves.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter play having lost 11-6 to Siena Heights on Saturday.  James Hatch leads Michigan-Dearborn with 28 goals and has 37 points while Devon Callaghan has added 26 goals and a team-high 15 assists for 41 points.  Jon Chaffee and Liam Turner have split time in goal, with Chaffee posting an 11.51 goals against average and a .477 save percentage while Turner has a 7.25 GAA and a .356 save mark.

Scouting SUNY-Delhi: The Broncos enter the week having won four straight games after defeating Madonna 19-2 on Tuesday.  SUNY-Delhi plays at Robert Morris (Ill.) on Wednesday before heading to Lourdes.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints had their four-game winning streak snapped by Aquinas, 17-16, in overtime on Monday.  Chris Action leads the Saints with 33 points, scoring 20 goals and adding 13 assists.  Shane Lewandowski has added 20 goals and 32 total points.  In goal, Tyler Hooper has played all but one minute for Siena Heights, posting a 6.59 goals against average and a .669 save percentage.

Among the Nation's Leaders: As a team Lourdes ranks sixth in NAIA averaging 13.67 goals per game.  Individually, Jared Yoshino is sixth in assists per game at 2.22 and seventh in points per game at 5.44.

This and That: Lourdes will honor its seniors prior to Saturday's game with Siena Heights ... the Gray Wolves have surrendered just one man-up goal this season ... Lourdes has 94 more ground balls than the oppositions, led by Jared Yoshino's 31.
