Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes opens Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday evening, as the Gray Wolves travel to sixth-ranked Siena Heights. Lourdes will close out the non-conference portion of its slate on Friday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves entertain Robert Morris (Ill.) at Wildcat Stadium.
Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his fifth season on the Lourdes bench,
Patrick Yannarelli has a 48-19 (.716) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016. He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Lourdes and Siena Heights have split their previous six meetings 3-3 dating back to March 26, 2014. Last year, the Gray Wolves defeated the Saints 10-9 in overtime in a game that began on April 5 and was suspended due to lightning and concluded on April 15. Siena Heights holds a 2-1 series edge in Adrian, Mich. Lourdes won the only previous meeting against Robert Morris (Ill.) on March 22, 2014. The Gray Wolves were 23-3 victors over the Eagles in a game played in Chicago, Ill.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes scored three times in the game's first 2:45 and shut Union (Ky.) out for the final 32:55 of the contest on the way to a 12-3 victory at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints remained undefeated on the season Saturday afternoon with a 13-10 victory over SCAD-Savannah in the team's home opener. Shane Lewandowski leads Siena Heights in scoring with 19 goals and 24 total points while Garnet Potter has 15 points, including a team-high six assists. In goal, Tyler Hooper has played every minute for Siena Heights, sporting a 9.40 goals against average and a .525 save percentage.
Scouting Robert Morris (Ill.): The Eagles enter the week having dropped five straight games after falling at fourth-ranked Madonna 29-3 on Sunday afternoon. Robert Morris travels to Union (Ky.) on Thursday before facing Lourdes. Jack Emery leads Robert Morris with 14 goals and 16 total points while
Bryce Foulk has a team-leading nine assists as part of his 16 points. In goal, Steven Brill has played every minutes, sporting an 18.17 goals against average and a .426 save percentage.
