Head Coach Jeremy Snow: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Jeremy Snow has a 62-111 (.358) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves, as well as in his career as a collegiate head coach. He is the second head coach in Lourdes program's history and is the winningest coach in program history.

Probable Starters: The Gray Wolves have yet to determine starters for their upcoming games.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 0-26 all-time against Indiana Tech in a series that began on April 27, 2012. The Gray Wolves have dropped all 15 contests at Mercy Field in the series. Lourdes is 7-15 all-time against Aquinas dating back to the inaugural meeting on April 21, 2012. Lourdes has won two of the last three in the series, winning two games at Mercy Field a season ago. The Gray Wolves last victory in Grand Rapids came on April 12, 2016. Lourdes is 0-2 all-time against the Cougars, with both games being played in Florida during the spring trip. Lourdes was edged 13-11 in the most recent meeting in 2018.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Despite dropping a pair of games to Point Park and suffering back-to-back setbacks to Concordia (Mich.) in a pair of non-conference games, Lourdes picked up two huge victories on the road at Siena Heights to end the week. Lourdes defeated the Saints 2-1 on Monday before returning to Adrian to upend the Saints 10-2 on Tuesday and move to 8-6 in the conference.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter the contest riding a three-game winning streak. Indiana Tech will host Siena Heights at Warrior Baseball Field prior to traveling to Mercy Field on Saturday. Glen McClain leads the team offensively and ranks second in the WHAC with a .406 batting average. McClain also leads the team with 32 RBI while Reese Olden leads the team and ranks second in the conference with 39 runs. McClain has a league-leading 10 home runs. On the mound, Dan Shaw leads the WHAC with an impressive 1.51 ERA and a .178 opponents batting average.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints are looking to halt a seven-game skid as they enter the week and host Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday prior to their matchup against Lourdes. Noah Haran leads the offense, hitting at a .360 clip from the plate. Nick Brzezinski leads the team with 29 hits, 19 runs and 19 RBI. Nathan Hughes has a team-leading three home runs. Zach Barnes and Bruce Buurstra currently pace the pitching staff with a pair of wins each. Barnes also has three saves on the bump. Max Ludka owns a staff-best 45 K's.

Scouting Mount Vernon Nazarene: The Cougars enter the week winners of eight straight. Seven athletes have recorded 41 hits or more on the season. On the mound this season, Jake Glover leads the staff with an 8-3 record and 43 strikeouts. His 2.95 ERA is also tops on the team. Adam Goodpaster currently has eight saves in his 18 appearances primarily in a relief role.

Moving Up The Standings: Following their back-to-back victories over Siena Heights, Lourdes has moved into a tie for fifth place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings. The Gray Wolves were tied for seventh in the standings prior to the games against Siena Heights.

A Performance To Remember: Lourdes had a strong showing on the mound in their victories over Siena Heights, highlighted by a complete game gem from Zach Brown in game one. Brown went the distance, fanning a career-best 11 batters and only scattering four hits in the 2-1 triumph.

Closing The Door: Travis Thompson has proven to be an asset as a relief pitcher for Lourdes. In four of his five appearances on the mound, Thompson has picked up a save.

Leading The League: Michael Davis has been a problem for opposing teams on the bases this season. Davis currently leads the team and ranks third in the WHAC with 0.54 stolen bases per contest. Davis is 15-of-18 on stolen base attempts this season.

Tough To Hit Off Of: Zach Brown has been dominant on the mound and proven to be one of the toughest pitchers to hit off of in the league. Brown leads the team and ranks second in the WHAC, as opponents are hitting at just a .184 clip at the plate against the junior.

Every Game Counts: With eight conference games left on the schedule for Lourdes, five teams are within two games of each other for the final two spots in the WHAC Tournament. Lourdes is currently tied for fifth in the standings.

This and That: the Gray Wolves recorded their fifth series sweep this season following the victories over Siena Heights ... Lourdes is above the .500 mark in league play for the first time this season ... Lourdes has six players hitting .300 or above this season.
