Upcoming in Gray Wolves Baseball: The regular season will come to an end this weekend as the Gray Wolves host Madonna on Saturday afternoon during Senior Day. Lourdes will conclude regular season action and make its final road trip of the year when it travels to Concordia (Mich.).

Head Coach Jeremy Snow: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Jeremy Snow has a 62-115 (.350) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves, as well as in his career as a collegiate head coach. He is the second head coach in Lourdes program's history and is the winningest coach in program history.

Probable Starters: The Gray Wolves have yet to determine starters for their upcoming games.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 1-24 all-time against Madonna in a series that began on March 31, 2012. The Gray Wolves have yet to win a game over Madonna at Mercy Field, with their lone victory in the series coming by way of a 9-4 triumph in Livonia, Mich. on April 11, 2014. The Gray Wolves are 9-19-1 all-time against Concordia in a series that started on April 13, 2012 at Mercy Field. Lourdes won two of four games a season ago. Lourdes is 5-8-1 all-time when playing in Ann Arbor after dropping a pair of non-conference games on the road earlier this season.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes played just four of its six games scheduled for last week due to inclement weather. Rain in the area forced the postponement of the Gray Wolves doubleheader against Indiana Tech, ultimately canceling the non-conference twinbill scheduled to be played at Mount Vernon Nazarene. Lourdes was swept by Aquinas to open the week before dropping a pair of contests to nationally-ranked Indiana Tech on Tuesday afternoon at Mercy Field.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders enters the week winning four of their last five matchups. Madonna travels to Cleary on Thursday afternoon prior to making the trip to Toledo. With six conference games remaining on its schedule, Madonna is battling for a spot in the upcoming WHAC Tournament. The Crusaders currently sit in second place in the conference standings. Offensively, Frankie Lucska leads the team with a .392 batting average. Lucska also paces the Crusader offense with 49 hits, while teammate Jalen Thomas leads the way with 35 RBI and six round trip hits. On the bump for Madonna, Victor Mencotti owns a 6-1 record while John Beuckeleare and Jack Ferguson are each 4-1. Mencotti leads the staff with 66 K's this season while Beucheleare sports a team-low 2.37 ERA for a team that owns a 4.94 ERA.

Scouting Concordia: The Cardinals enter the contest winners of 11 of their last 13 games, including a sweep of Aquinas in their most recent games. Concordia will host Siena Heights on Saturday afternoon before hosting Lourdes in the Senior Day games on Sunday. With just five regular season games remaining on the schedule, Concordia is looking to secure a spot in the conference tournament. Blaine Milheim currently leads the nation, hitting at a .500 clip from the plate. He also leads the WHAC and is tied for 11th nationally with 72 hits. Milheim also has a team-leading 41 RBI. Grant Steinborn currently leads the pitching staff and ranks second in the conference, sporting a 2.21 ERA. Steinborn is 7-1 on the mound for the Cardinals while Jimmy McKane also has seven victories on the bump. McKane also has a team-leading 40 K's.

Thanks Seniors: Four seniors will play their final games at Mercy Field on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves celebrate Senior Day between their games against Madonna. George Pastor, Colin Gottschalk, Liam Bloom and Kevin Suttles will all be honored in the ceremony.

Every Game Counts: While the top six teams in the final conference standings receive bids to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament, nine teams are within five games of the top seed. Lourdes is currently in ninth place in the standings, but could jump as high as tied for third in the final standings. The Gray Wolves are searching for their second consecutive WHAC Tournament berth.

Tough To Hit Off Of: Zach Brown has been dominant on the mound and proven to be one of the toughest pitchers to hit off of in the league. Brown leads the team, and WHAC, as opponents are hitting at just a .179 clip at the plate against the junior. Brown also leads the team and ranks fifth in the WHAC, fanning 58 batters thus far this season.

Lots Of Extra Bases: Jay Denman currently leads the team with 12 extra base hits this season while Brad Ammons and Cameron Gallo are tied for second on the team with 11 extra base hits each.

Closing The Door: Travis Thompson has proven to be an asset as a relief pitcher for Lourdes. In five of his six appearances on the mound, Thompson has picked up a save. Thompson also owns a team-low 1.45 ERA.

Stealing Bases: Michael Davis has been a problem for opposing teams on the bases this season. Davis currently leads the team and ranks fifth in the WHAC with 0.49 stolen bases per contest. Davis is 16-of-20 on stolen base attempts this season.

This and That: The Gray Wolves have swept five opposing teams this season, matching the total from a season ago ... Lourdes has four players hitting .300 or above this season ... when the offense records more hits then the opposing team, Lourdes owns a 10-4 record this season.
