Lourdes's Overwatch improved to 5-6 in GLEC conference play as they defeated Tiffin 2-0 Thursday afternoon. This brings the Gray Wolves to 2-0 in the spring split as they reversed the result from last semester against the Dragons.
Â
The first map selected by Tiffin was Rialto. Lourdes started on offense and was able to cap all three points, completing the map. Once the sides switched, Tiffin attempted to run an escort composition. However, the Gray Wolves were able to ambush the Dragons, forcing them off their composition and fully holding them.
Â
The second map picked was Lijiang Tower. The first point, Control Center, was difficult for Lourdes to take as Tiffin came out with a brawl style composition. However, after a couple fights the Gray Wolves were able to take the point back and win the first round. The second round was on Gardens. Lourdes dominated early taking a 99%-0% lead. While the Dragons were able to fight back and bring the score to 99%-50%, ultimately Lourdes won one final fight and finished the map with a 2-0 win, also winning the game with the same score line.Â

Jacob Stell as he had a KDA of 39:2 over the two games.
Â
Game one saw a competitive opening 18 minutes between the two teams. However, the game turned during a fight around the dragon pit that Lourdes won 3-1, during which Stell pushed the top lane, taking out the Dragons's mid laner and destroying the lane's turret and inhibitor. After that, Lourdes won multiple team fights before taking the enemy base.
Â
Game two wasn't nearly as close as the Gray Wolves out eliminated the Dragons 32-7 on their way to a swift 24 minute win. This round saw the Gray Wolves every large team fight, with
