Lourdes Ready for WHAC Tournament in Overwatch and League of Legends

Lourdes University will take part in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament for Overwatch on Saturday (April 6) and for League of Legends on Sunday (April 7), in Fort Wayne, Ind. on the campus of Indiana Tech.
 
The Gray Wolves are the tournament's defending champion in Overwatch but enters this year's event as the seventh seed.  Lourdes (1-6) will face second-seeded Cleary (6-1) in the quarterfinal round that begins at 9 a.m.  Lourdes (7-0) lost to the Cougars 3-0 on March 11 during the regular season.
 
The winner of the Lourdes-Cleary match will face the winner of third-seeded Siena Heights (5-2) and sixth-seeded Concordia (Mich.) (2-5) in the semifinals. 
 
The other half of the bracket has top-seeded Indiana Tech (7-0) facing eighth-seeded Aquinas (0-7) while fourth-seeded Lawrence Tech (4-3) battles fifth-seeded Rochester (Mich.) (3-4)
 
All of the Overwatch matches will be contested as best-of-5 until the championship, which will be best-of-7.
 
In Sunday's League of Legends tournament, Lourdes (1-6) is also the seventh seed and will meet second-seeded Siena Heights (6-1) in the quarterfinals which begin at 9 a.m.  The Gray Wolves lost the regular season meeting against the Saints 2-0 on Feb. 23.
 
The winner of the Lourdes-Siena Heights match will face the winner of third-seeded Indiana Tech (5-2) and sixth-seeded Lawrence Tech (2-5) in the semifinals.
 
The other quarterfinal contests have top-seeded Aquinas (7-0) meeting eighth-seeded Cleary (0-7) with the winner advancing to the semifinals to face either fourth-seeded Rochester (4-3) or fifth-seeded Concordia (3-4).
 
All of the League of Legends matches will be contested as best-of-3 until the championship, which will be best-of-5.
