LIVONIA, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- Lourdes University has been selected to finish tenth in Rocket League as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has announced the preseason coaches' poll for the first of three league-sponsored esports games.

The Gray Wolves totaled 47 points, finishing just behind Bethel University (52) and just ahead of Concordia University (41), in the balloting. Rochester Christian University (140) garnered eight first place votes and was picked to win the WHAC title, while Siena Heights University (135) collected the remaining four first-place votes and predicted to finish second.Â
Rounding out the top-three was Saint Xavier University (109). Indiana Tech University (108) was selected fourth followed by Cleary University (95). Lawrence Tech University (78) was predicted sixth with Aquinas University (56) and Defiance College (56) knotted for seventh.
Bethel (52), Lourdes (47), and Concordia (41) took the ninth through 11th spots, while Cornerstone University (13) rounded out the ballot.Â
The 2024 Rocket League WHAC Championships are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2 at Siena Heights University.Â
