Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes opens its seventh season of men's lacrosse as the Gray Wolves travel to North Carolina for three games over spring break.  The season opens against Montreat on Tuesday before Lourdes battles Saint Andrews and SCAD-Savannah to close out the week.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his sixth season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 57-31 (.648) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes won the only previous contest against Montreat 14-3 on March 10, 2018 at Wildcat Stadium.  The Gray Wolves are also 1-0 all-time against Saint Andrews, having defeated the Knights 16-5 on March 5, 2016 in Laurinburg, N.C.  Lourdes won the only previous meeting with SCAD-Savannah 14-13 on March 6, 2017 in Savannah, Ga.

Wrapping Up Last Season: The Gray Wolves finished 2019 with a 7-7 record overall and a 3-5 mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, finishing in sixth place in the league standings.  Collin O'Loughlin was named First Team All-WHAC while Nick Johnson was a Second Team All-WHAC selection. 

Scouting Montreat: The Cavaliers are still looking for their first victory of the season after falling to Cumberlands (Ky.) 21-5 on Wednesday.  Montreat faces Concordia (Mich.) and Point before battling Lourdes.  Cody Bischoff leads the team with five goals and five assists while Ben Stephenson has seven goals.  Jacob Gunn sports a 19.67 goals against average and a .415 save percentage.

Scouting Saint Andrews: The Knights have dropped two straight after falling to Michigan-Dearborn 17-10 on Sunday.  Brady Skelly leads Saint Andrews with eight goals and seven assists while Cheng Aldrich has nine goals and 11 points.  Myles Stewart sports a 24.14 goals against average and a .421 save percentage in goal.

Scouting SCAD-Savannah: The Bees won their fourth straight game on Tuesday, defeating Michigan-Dearborn 15-5.  Elliot Fish has 14 goals and eight assists while Liam Thomas has 12 goals and 15 total points.  In goal, Ross Wiseman has posted a 3.89 goals against average and a .619 save percentage.

Lourdes in Season Openers: Lourdes is 6-0 all-time in season openers after downing Saint Ambrose 12-11 to open the 2019 season.  The Gray Wolves have not opened a season at home since 2014 when they defeated Oakland in the program's debut.

Top Returning Scorers: Cory Campbell ranks seventh in program history with 50 career goals an 72 points.  Nick Johnson is ninth with 37 goals while Mark O'Bryant is 10th with 35 goals and is eighth with 60 career points.  Drew Gilhooly ranks 10th with 57 points all-time.

Who's in Goal?: Lourdes has four goalies on the roster, but combined they have only seen 92:23 of game time among them.
 
Captains: Lourdes has five co-captains this season.  Serving in the leadership role are Luke Burridge, Drew Gilhooly, Jacob Noel, Mark O'Bryant, and Brent Wethington.  O'Bryant was also a captain in 2019.

This and That: There are 10 new faces on this year's Gray Wolf roster ... Lourdes is 27-17 all-time on the road and 8-6 in neutral site games ... the Gray Wolves are 11-13 all-time against NAIA top-10 foes.
