Final Results

Lourdes earned a runner-up finish for the second consecutive competition on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves finished in second place at the Saints Showdown inside the Sturrus Sports & Recreation Center in Grand Rapids, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves posted a final total of 74.0, an improvement of more than six points over the season opener, despite having 1.25 points worth of deductions on the afternoon.  Lourdes trailed just Marian in the final standings, as the Knights posted a total of 80.0 on the day.
 
Thomas More finished in third place in the field of seven schools with a total of 73.6, just 0.4 points behind the Gray Wolves.  Host Aquinas was fourth with a total of 71.9 while Spring Arbor was fifth with 69.6 points.  Rochester (Mich.) and Madonna rounded out the field.
 
Lourdes will return to the mats on Friday evening to participate in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.  Action begins at 6 p.m. inside of Luckey Arena in Marion, Ind.
