Series Notes: Indiana Tech holds a 4-1-3 all-time edge against the Gray Wolves in a series that began Oct. 17, 2015.  Last season the two schools battled to a 1-1 draw at Wildcat Stadium.  The Warriors are 3-0 against Lourdes in Fort Wayne, Ind.  Aquinas is 4-2-2 against Lourdes in a series that dates back to Oct. 21, 2015.  The Saints notched a 3-2 win over the Gray Wolves in last year's meeting in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Lourdes holds a 2-0-1 series edge against Aquinas at Wildcat Stadium.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Madonna found the back of the net in each half last Wednesday as the Crusaders defeated the Gray Wolves 2-0 in Livonia, Mich.  Alex Brock made three stops between the posts for Lourdes.  On Saturday, Diego Pereira gave Lourdes a first half lead and Austin Gibbons added an insurance tally with just over 20 minutes to play in the match as the Gray Wolves downed Rochester (Mich.) 2-0 on the road. Brock had six saves for the Gray Wolves on his way to a clean sheet.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have won three straight matches after a 2-1 victory on the road at Cornerstone on Saturday.  Lucca Motta has tallied a team-leading 11 points on the year and shares the goal-scoring lead with Luke Jones as each have found the back of the net five times this season.  Ryan Steele and Aaron Asamoah have each handed out a pair of assists.  In goal, David Martinez has played all but 90 minutes this season, sporting a 1.50 goals against average and a .625 save percentage.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints enter the week having won back-to-back decisions after defeating Northwestern Ohio 3-0 on Saturday at home.  Aquinas hosts Cornerstone on Wednesday evening before visiting Lourdes.  Ricardo Rittersberger leads Aquinas with 12 goals and seven assists for 31 points on the year.  Joshua Clemitson has added six helpers while Andrea Ghiggini and Yussef Hakmaoui have each tallied four goals.  In net, Antonio Strassioto has played a majority of the minutes, sporting a 0.63 goals against average and an .821 save mark.

Gibbons Nets First Career Tally: Austin Gibbons scored his first collegiate goal for the Gray Wolves on Saturday in the victory at Rochester (Mich.).  The junior was appearing in his 25th match at Lourdes and the goal also marked his first career points.

Moving Up the Record Books: Diego Pereira netted his first career goal of the season, which proved to be the match winner, on Saturday at Rochester (Mich.). Pereira is now tied with Reece Riccardi (2016-2019) for seventh on the all-time charts, one goal shy of moving into the top-five all-time.  Pereira also moved into a tie for sixth on the career points list with 24, matching Anthony Samuel (2020-2022).

Coronel Adds to Points Lead: Martin Coronel handed out his first assist of the season on the match-winning goal at Rochester on Saturday, his first collegiate helper.  Coronel now has five points on the year, most of any Gray Wolf.

Brock Solid in Goal: Alex Brock has yielded just eight goals in nine matches between the posts for the Gray Wolves, posting a 0.89 goals against average.  He has made 35 saves on the year, stopping shots at an .814 clip.  His third shutout of the season against Rochester (Mich.) gives him five career clean sheets, moving him into a tie for third on Lourdes' all-time list with Igor Silva (2020-2022).

More Top Performances: Hussein Sbeiti is also ranked in the top-10 in scoring for the Gray Wolves.  He is tied with Haggi Amirally (2016-2017) for 10th with eight career goals while his eight assists are tied with Savio Adams (2018, 2020-21) for sixth on that chart.  Sbeiti's 24 career points match Anthony Samuel's (2020-2022) total which ranks sixth all-time at Lourdes.

Lots of Appearances: Hussein Sbeiti has moved into sixth place all-time at Lourdes with 60 career appearances on the pitch.  He needs to step on to the field just one more time to move into the top-five on the all-time list.  Sbeiti has started 42 career contests, moving into a tie for seventh with Savio Adams (2018, 2020-21) on that list.  His next start will pull him even with Cameron Poslaiko (2018-2021) in sixth place.

Gray Wolves Tabbed Sixth in WHAC Preseason Poll: Lourdes was selected to finish in sixth place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.  The Gray Wolves were picked just behind fifth place Lawrence Tech.  Madonna was selected to win the league crown.
