Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: The penultimate week of the regular season has arrived for Lourdes men's lacrosse with the Gray Wolves playing a pair of key games in the quest for a WHAC tournament berth.  The Gray Wolves host fourth-ranked Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday before traveling to Taylor on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his 10th season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 80-46 (.635) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Concordia (Mich.) 4-1 dating back to March 22, 2017.  The Gray Wolves defeated the Cardinals 14-11 in Ann Arbor, Mich. last season.  Lourdes is 2-1 against Concordia all-time at Wildcat Stadium.  The Gray Wolves are 2-1 all-time against Taylor in a series that began March 23, 2019.  The Trojans scored a 14-13 victory over Lourdes last season in Upland, Ind. in the only previous meeting on Taylor's home field.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Indiana Tech outscored Lourdes 9-1 in the third quarter on Saturday on the way to a 20-7 victory over the Gray Wolves in Fort Wayne, Ind.  Nick Johnson and Garrett Boersma led Lourdes with two goals each while Jack Bichsel made 17 saves in the cage.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals have won nine straight games after defeating Madonna 11-9 on the road Saturday.  Evan Stuart leads Concordia with 29 goals this season while Travis Wright has a team-high 34 points.  Wright, Hunter McCarty, and Ross Preston has the team lead with 15 assists.  In goal, Sam Bowling has played all but 15 minutes, sporting a 7.92 goals against average and a .558 save percentage.

Scouting Taylor: The Trojans have dropped six straight games after falling 18-5 at Aquinas on Saturday.  Reid Gerig has scored a team-high 17 goals while Aidan Craig has handed out 28 assists and leads Taylor with 40 total points.  In goal, Trace Muylle has played every minutes, sporting a 15.30 goals against average and a .472 save percentage.

The Postseason Race: With four games remaining in the regular season, Lourdes is currently one-half game behind Lawrence Tech for the sixth and final qualifying spot for the WHAC tournament.  The Gray Wolves and Blue Devils are slated to face one another on April 22 to close out the regular season.

Scoring Leaders: Lourdes has three players that have tallied 25 or more points and scored 16 or more goals this season.  Nick Johnson leads the team with 21 goals while totalling 31 points, most on the team.  Brock Meomartino has added 19 goals and a team-high 11 assists for 30 points.  Ben Reidy has added 16 goals and 25 points.

On the Scoring Lists: Nick Johnson has passed Cory Campbell (2017-2021) for fourth all-time at Lourdes with 140 career points.  Johnson surpassed 100 career goals and now has 104, also fourth most in program history while his 37 career assists tie him for sixth. 

Picking Up Ground Balls: Jack Durham leads the Gray Wolves with 44 ground balls this season.  Ryan Shaffer has 29 ground balls this season while Nick Johnson is the team's active career leader with 125, ranking seventh on the all-time list.

This and That: Jack Bichsel has saved 58.1% of the shots he has faced in goal while sporting an 8.60 goals against average ... 13 different Gray Wolves have scored a goal this year ... Jack Durham scored his first collegiate goal at Indiana Tech.
