Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: The regular season concludes for the Lourdes men's lacrosse season this week with a pair of games.  The Gray Wolves take to the road for the final time on Wednesday night, heading to Siena Heights, before hosting Lawrence Tech in the season finale on Saturday evening for Senior Night.

Head Coach Patrick Yannarelli: In his 10th season on the Lourdes bench, Patrick Yannarelli has a 80-48 (.625) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  Yannarelli was named the NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2016.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Siena Heights leads the all-time series with Lourdes 7-4 dating back to March 26, 2014.  The Saints won both meetings against the Gray Wolves last season, a 13-12 decision at Wildcat Stadium during the regular season and a 7-3 triumph in Adrian, Mich. in the WHAC tournament.  Siena Heights is 5-2 against the Gray Wolves all-time in Adrian.  Lourdes and Lawrence Tech have split 10 previous meetings 5-5 in a series that began April 2, 2014.  The Blue Devils have won the last four contests between the two schools after posting a 15-11 victory in Southfield, Mich. last season.  The series is tied 1-1 at Wildcat Stadium.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Six consecutive goals midway through the contest on Wednesday lifted Concordia (Mich.) to a 14-4 win over Lourdes at Wildcat Stadium.  Jack Bichsel made 14 saves in the cage for the Gray Wolves.  On Saturday, Taylor used a 10-1 spurt in the middle stanzas to defeat Lourdes 12-7 in Upland, Ind.  Caden Louthan scored three times for the Gray Wolves while Bichsel made nine saves in the setback.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have won three of their last four games after defeating Aquinas 10-9 in overtime on Saturday.  Eric Csizmadia leads Siena Heights with 42 points this season while Jake Gallaher has a team-leading 28 goals.  Devin Plemmons has handed out a team-high 24 assists for the Saints.  In goal, Jakob Moske has played every minutes, sporting a 12.12 goals against average and a .485 save percentage.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils enter the week following an 11-10 overtime win over Aquinas last Wednesday.  Lawrence Tech hosts Indiana Tech on Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Damian Hudson leads the Blue Devils with 32 goals and 16 assists for 48 total points this season.  In goal, Jarret Willershausen has registered a 13.04 goals against average and a .438 save percentage, playing every minute for Lawrence Tech.

The Postseason Race: With two games remaining in the regular season, Lourdes is currently two games behind Lawrence Tech and Aquinas for the sixth and final qualifying spot for the WHAC tournament.  The Gray Wolves need to win both remaining games and get help with a Lawrence Tech loss for a chance to reach the postseason..

On the Scoring Lists: Nick Johnson has passed Cory Campbell (2017-2021) for fourth all-time at Lourdes with 143 career points.  Johnson has 105 career goals, also fourth most in program history while his 38 career assists rank him sixth. 

This and That: Lourdes needs one victory to ensure the program its eighth consecutive winning season ... Jack Bichsel has saved 55.7% of the shots he has faced in goal while sporting a 9.39 goals against average ... Jack Durham leads the team with 47 ground balls ... 13 different Gray Wolves have scored a goal this year ... Brock Meomartino has a team-leading 12 assists during his rookie season.
