Due to frigid weather in the Charleston, W. Va. area, Saturday's scheduled season opener for the Lourdes University baseball team at West Virginia Tech has been cancelled.
 
The game will not be made up.
 
Lourdes will now try to open its season on Sunday with its scheduled doubleheader at West Virginia Tech.  The first pitch in game one is slated for 1 p.m. at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston.
