Final Results
Lourdes began its 2024 outdoor track season on Saturday, competing at the unscored IWU Polar Bear Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind.
The Gray Wolves opened the day with a fourth place finish in the 4x100m relay as the team of
A'maya Hodges (Toledo, Ohio/Springfield H.S.),
Tamyah Worthy (Toledo, Ohio/Start H.S.),
Natalie Samples (Wolverine Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Central H.S.), and
Paige Thomas (Ottawa Lake, Mich./Whiteford H.S.) finished in a time of 54.48 seconds.
Jenna Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves in the 1,500m with a time of 5:13.74, the second fastest mark in program history in the event. She later came back and posted a mark of 2:33.38 in the 800m, which is the third best in school history.
Thomas led the Gray Wolves in the 100m dash finishing in 14.07 seconds. Lourdes 4x400m relay closed the meet with a time of 4:40.50.
Lourdes will return to the oval April 12-13 taking part in the Tiffin Track Carnival. Action begins at 11 a.m. on day one in Tiffin, Ohio.
