Lourdes University's
Jenna Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week after her performance at the IWU Polar Bear Classic on Saturday.
Ramsey turned in the second fastest 1500m performance in school history with a time of 5:13.95 to finish 21
st in a field of 74 runners. She then clocked a mark of 2:33.38 in the 800m run to finish 19
th out of 58 competitors. Her 800m time was the third best in program history.
The Gray Wolf freshman also ran a leg of the 4x400m relay which finished in a time of 4:40.50.
Lourdes will return to the oval on April 12-13 at the Tiffin Track Carnival. Action begins at 11 a.m. on day one.
