Final Results
Lourdes took to the track for the final time before the league championships on Saturday afternoon, competing at the Concordia Legacy Meet in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Jenna Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with a runner-up finish in the 5,000m, posting a time of 20:09.96.
Olivia Waterstradt (Dundee, Mich./Dundee H.S.) nearly had a top-10 effort of her own in the event, turning in a time of 22:32.76, less than a second out of 10
th place.
Aliyah Perez (Norwalk, Ohio/Western Reserve H.S.) paced Lourdes in the 800m with a time of 2:44.38 to place 13
th while
Madelynn DuBois (Sylvania, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) crossed the finish line in 2:48.78.
In the 1500m run,
Laurynn Garcia (McAllen, Texas/Rowe H.S.) posted a time of 5:45.62.
The 4x800m relay of Ramsey, Waterstradt, DuBois, and Perez turned in a time of 11:00.83.
In the sprints,
Natalie Samples (Wolverine Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Central H.S.) posted a time of 29.09 seconds in the 200m while turning in a 1:09.95 effort in the 400m.
Lourdes will close out the 2024 season next Thursday and Friday, taking part in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships. Action begins at noon both days in Fort Wayne, Ind.
