Jenna Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) took home top honors in the 1,500m run on Friday helping the Gray Wolves to a fourth place finish as a team at the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational held at O'Laughlin Stadium in Adrian, Mich.

Ramsey set a new school record in the event with a time of 4:57.62, bettering the old mark of 5:02.29 set by
Aliyah Perez last season. Ramsey also turned in the third best 5,000m time in program history with a mark of 20:47.33 to place sixth in the event.

Natalie Samples (Wolverine Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Christian H.S.) was runner-up in the 400m dash with a time of 1:06.13 while also running a leg of the 4x400m relay that finished runner-up. Samples also paced the Gray Wolves in the 200m with her time of 29.69 seconds.

Samples teamed with
Taylor Imus (Portage, Mich./Central H.S.),
Madelynn DuBois (Sylvania, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.), and
A'maya Hodges (Toledo, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) for a second place finish in a time of 4:47.07.Â

DuBois led the Gray Wolves in the 800m run finishing seventh in 2:47.98.

As a team Lourdes tallied 31 points to finish fourth out of nine schools.

Lourdes will return to the oval next Saturday to take part in the Concordia Legacy Meet. Action begins at 11 a.m. in Ann Arbor, Mich.
