Day 1 Results
Lourdes opened the two-day Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships in record-setting fashion on Thursday at Warrior Park in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Gray Wolves competed in just one event on day one but made the most of it, setting a new school mark in the 4x800m relay. The team of
Aliyah Perez (Norwalk, Ohio/Western Reserve H.S.),
Olivia Waterstradt (Dundee, Mich./Dundee H.S.),
Madelynn DuBois (Sylvania, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.), and
Jenna Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) crossed the finish line with a time of 10:31.70.

The team bettered the previous mark of 10:57.47 set in 2021 by more than 25 seconds on the way to a sixth place finish in the race.Â

The Gray Wolves finished the first day of competition with three total team points.

Lourdes will return to the oval on Friday afternoon for day two of the WHAC Championships. Action gets underway at noon at Warrior Park.
