Final Results
Lourdes concluded the 2024 outdoor track season on Friday afternoon with a ninth place finish at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships held at Warrior Park in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Gray Wolves concluded the meet with four total points.

Layton Willson (Wauseon, Ohio/Wauseon H.S.) turned in an eighth place effort in the 1500m run. He finished in 4:14.92, just 0.14 seconds shy of the school record, posting the second fastest time ever in the event at Lourdes.Â
Seth Beerens (Manchester, Mich./Manchester H.S.) and
Kaleb Sanford (New Carlisle, Ohio/New Carlisle H.S.) both turned in season's best times in the event as well, finishing in 4:27.40 and 4:41.53 respectively.

The Gray Wolves also added a pair of points in the 4x400m relay to close the meet. The team of

Tyler Rose (Cardington, Ohio/Cardington Lincoln H.S.),
TJ Destatte (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) and J
acob Newland (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln H.S.) turned in a season's best time of 3:46.19.

Lourdes opened the day as
Levi Trout (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) paced the team in the 3,000m steeplechase. He finished with a time of 11:14.69, the second best mark in program history.Â
Kaiden Koepfler (Maumee, Ohio/Maumee H.S.) also ran a season's best mark in the event, crossing the finish line in 11:36.14.

Newland turned in the second fastest 800m time in school history with his time of 2:01.93 and was one of four Gray Wolves to turn in a season's best mark in the event on the day. Willson finished the race in 2:06.00 while Hamilton turned in a mark of 2:07.91. Beerens posted a time of 2:13.66 while
Andy Schlaff (Stockbridge, Mich./Stockbridge H.S.) had a time of 2:24.20.

In the 200m dash, Rose led Lourdes with a time of 23.75 seconds, his season's best while Destatte also had his best time of the year finishing in 25.07 seconds.

Elliott Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) just missed scoring for the Gray Wolves in the 5,000m run, turning a season's best mark of 15:50.28, just 0.03 seconds shy of eighth place.Â
Maddox Altman (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) also ran a season's best time in the event, crossing the finish line in 18:25.80.

Indiana Tech was crowned the WHAC champion with 240.5 points, 19.5 more than runner-up Madonna.
