MARION, Ind. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University competitive cheer team kicked off its 2025 season at the Wildcat Weekend event hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. The Gray Wolves competed in three sessions over two days, showcasing steady improvement throughout the weekend.

In the opening session on Friday, Lourdes placed fourth out of five teams with a score of 76.07. The Gray Wolves rebounded impressively on Saturday morning during Session 2, claiming first place in a field of six teams with an impressive score of 83.51. The team concluded the event in Session 3 on Saturday afternoon, finishing third out of six teams with a score of 82.46.

Lourdes will look to build on these performances as they continue their 2025 campaign in upcoming competitions.
