Box Score TOLEDO, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University baseball team secured a 7-6 walk-off victory over Indiana Tech on Tuesday afternoon, winning in dramatic fashion on a hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Indiana Tech took an early lead with two runs in the top of the first, but Lourdes responded in the third when Jase Kennedy launched a home run to tie the game at 3-3. Later, Andrew Arntson homered to even the score at 4-4, and Caleb Edwards-Dugan delivered a clutch RBI single to bring Kennedy home. Alex Dupree, a Sylvania native, followed with a double to score Edwards-Dugan, giving the Gray Wolves a 6-4 advantage.
On the mound, Caleb Loboschefski turned in a strong performance, pitching deep into the game while navigating multiple scoring threats. Riley McKinnon came in to close things out in the final innings.
With the game tied 6-6 in the eighth, Joel Suraganan reached base, loading the bases with two outs. Andrew Arntsonthen stepped up and was hit by a pitch, forcing Alex Dupree home for the walk-off win.

The second game of the doubleheader, which was suspended in the bottom of the final inning with Indiana Tech leading 15-14 and Lourdes having the bases loaded with one out, will resume on Thursday, April 3, at 12 p.m. at Mercy Field.
