LIVONIA, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its 2025 men's volleyball postseason awards, and Lourdes University was well represented across the board, capping off a strong season with several individual honors.
Highlighting the accolades was Brayden Moyars, who was named the WHAC Libero of the Year, leading the league in both total digs (305) and digs per set (3.47). He also earned First Team All-Conference honors, joining teammates Jaber Badarne and Vinicius Lopes on the top team. Lopes was among the league leaders in kills and digs, while Badarne brought a strong presence at the service line and net.
Joey Bianco was named to the Second Team All-Conference following a strong season as the team's primary setter, finishing fifth in the WHAC in assists per set. Freshman Felipe Tramontin earned a spot on the WHAC All-Freshman Team, showing promise for the future of the program.
In addition, Trace Bauersfeld was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team, representing Lourdes with distinction on and off the court, while seven Gray Wolves—Joey Bianco, Daniel De La Rosa, Jack McMurray, Brayden Moyars, and Ben Palma—earned WHAC All-Academic Team honors for their achievements in the classroom.
The team is set to travel to no.1-seeded and tournament host, Lawrence Tech University to take on the no.2-seeded Cornerstone University in the semifinals of the WHAC Championship tournament on Thursday, April 17th at 5 pm in Southfield, Mich.
