LEXINGTON, KY. (LourdesAthletics.com) – Lourdes University men's volleyball standouts Brayden Moyars and Vinicius Lopes have been recognized among the best in the nation, as both were named to the 2025 AVCA NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Honorable Mention Team, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The AVCA honored 24 student-athletes across its First and Second Teams, with 11 additional players receiving honorable mention accolades. Moyars and Lopes represent two of just six Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) players to earn national recognition this season.
A sophomore libero, Moyars was a defensive anchor for the Gray Wolves all season and was previously named WHAC Libero of the Year, as well as named to the All-Conference First team.
Lopes, a junior outside hitter, was a go-to option offensively for the Gray Wolves throughout the year, who also was named to the All-Conference First team.Â
This marks the first AVCA All-America honor for both Moyars and Lopes and continues Lourdes' tradition of national recognition in men's volleyball. The selections were made by the AVCA NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Committee.
