The Lourdes women's bowling team finished in second in the AHBA's fourth event of the season on Saturday with several players making the all-tournament team.
Freshman
Veronica Flanagan won the championship with a 962 five-game series, including an impressive 220 third game. Senior
Jaycie Arnet also bowled a solid afternoon with an 862 series.
The JV team's
Kaitlyn Comar bowled a 855 to finish third and
Haley Lewis bowled an 836 to finish fifth. Overall, Lourdes was only behind 2nd-ranked Lawrence Tech for the top spot in the tournament.
"All teams worked hard today," coach Nusbaum said. "After being off for four weeks for the winter break, we came to Waterford and Centry Bowl and had an amazing day."
