Gray Wolves' women's bowler
Veronica Flanagan has been selected as the WHAC women's bowler of the week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Flanagan is a freshman for Lourdes and has been exceptional on the varsity level this season. The Vandergrift, Pa. native recently won the AHBA 4 event in Waterford, Mich. on Saturday, bowling a 962 five-game series and leading the Gray Wolves to a second-place team finish.
Flanagan also led the team during their first WHAC event in Jackson, Mich. in which she bowled a 651 three-game series that notched her second place individually. Flanagan has been instrumental in leading Lourdes to two second-place team finishes this season as well as four top-five team finishes overall.
Lourdes women's bowling will compete next in their fourth WHAC event on Saturday, Jan. 24 in Allen Park, Mich.
