Box Score History for Lourdes University sports was made on Wednesday night as the women's volleyball team defeated the Wolverines of UM-Dearborn for their first Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference victory. The Gray Wolves won in a thrilling five sets 25-18, 23-25, 18-25, 25-23 and 15-11.

Greg Reitz said after the game “I am very proud of how the ladies played tonight. It's a great feeling to get the first WHAC win in school history and help move us towards this weekend's conference tourney. There were times we didn't play our best but I am very proud of the never give up attitude”
The Gray Wolves finished the game with .180 attacking percentage to the UM-Dearborn .165. Lourdes would win the battle at the net as well in this one as they finished with 61 kills to the Wolverines 59. Lourdes had six blocks in the game to UM-Dearborn's five.

Amanda Drew played very well on the night in the libero role while Freshman
Amelia Horton had some timely kills to go along with her presence of blocking at the net.
The Gray Wolves will find out soon who exactly they will be playing in this weekend tourney with pairings to be released later.
