Box Score
The Lourdes University Women's Volleyball team took care of business in the TAM-O-SHANTER on Friday night against the OSU-Marion Scarlet Wave in three sets.

Set one was all Gray Wolves as they easily handled the Scarlet Wave winning 25-14. The Wave jumped out to an early 4-1 lead but the Gray Wolves found their stroke at the service line as they ended up with seven aces to the Wave's one. The Gray Wolves ended the first set dominating the net finishing with 11 kills to just 4 for the Wave.

Set two was all Gray Wolves from the get go as they reeled off the first four points behind the serving effort of Hannah Thompson.  The serving would also be beneficial to sophomore Dolores Hidalgo who would come in as a substitute and accumulate an ace to go along with her five digs. Lourdes would win the set easily 25-11 amassing 14 kills to the Scarlet Wave's four.

Set three was much more competitive than the previous two as the Scarlet Wave was down but never out as they hung tough throughout with long rallies for both sides before points were conceded. The Gray Wolves would win the set 25-17.

With the victory the Gray Wolves improved to 5-9 overall on the season.

The Gray Wolves will return to action on Saturday against Lawrence Tech starting at approximately 12pm. The first match on Saturday will be at 10am featuring Asbury University vs. OSU-Marion.
